These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Aurja website and your purchase of Aurja products. By accessing aurja.com or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the site and its services.

Use of the Website

Aurja provides this website for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any part of the site, its content, or its products for any commercial purpose without our written permission. We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, limit account access, or remove content at our discretion and without liability.

Product Information

We make every effort to provide accurate and current information regarding our products, including ingredients, scent descriptions, vessel designs, pricing, and availability. However, we do not warrant that all information is error-free, complete, or up-to-date at all times. Product details and availability may change without notice. Colors, textures, and finishes may appear differently depending on your device.

Orders and Payment

When placing an order, you agree to provide complete and accurate information and represent that you are authorized to use the chosen payment method. All orders are subject to acceptance, availability, and fraud or misuse review. We may cancel or refuse any order for reasons including, but not limited to, suspected fraud, inaccurate information, or product unavailability. Prices may change without notice, and you are responsible for taxes, duties, and shipping fees displayed at checkout.

Shipping and Delivery

Shipping timelines are estimates only and may be affected by carrier delays, customs processing, or circumstances outside our control. Once an order is transferred to the carrier, risk of loss passes to you. Aurja is not responsible for delays or losses incurred during transit. International shipments may incur customs fees, which are the responsibility of the customer.

Returns and Exchanges

All sales are final unless an item arrives damaged or defective. Claims for damaged items must be submitted within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery and must include photographic evidence. Refunds or replacements are offered solely at Aurja’s discretion. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Product Safety and Candle Use

Aurja candles involve the use of open flame and natural heat, both of which carry inherent risks. By purchasing and using Aurja products, you agree to follow all candle safety guidelines: burn within sight, trim the wick before each use, place on a stable and heat-safe surface, and keep away from drafts, flammable materials, children, and pets. Never burn a candle for longer than the recommended duration, and discontinue use when less than one-quarter inch of wax remains. Aurja is not liable for injuries, burns, fire, or damages resulting from misuse, negligence, or failure to follow standard candle safety protocols.

Embedded Whisper Paper and Message Insert Disclaimer

Each Aurja candle contains an embedded whisper paper or message insert placed intentionally within the wax. This insert is designed to remain inside the candle and to descend naturally as the wax melts. It is not meant to be removed, touched, repositioned, extracted, or interacted with at any time during the candle’s life cycle. Customers should never attempt to dig into the wax or handle the insert, especially while the candle is burning, recently extinguished, or when the wax is warm or soft. The insert is positioned at a safe distance from the wick; however, improper burning—such as burning the candle too low, burning for excessively long periods, or failing to maintain the wick—may affect how the insert behaves.

By using the candle, you acknowledge that you are responsible for proper use and safe burning practices and that Aurja assumes no liability for any burns, injuries, fire-related incidents, vessel breakage, or property damage arising from interaction with the embedded insert or misuse of the product. The message printed on the insert is intended purely for aesthetic or artistic purposes and is not meant to be interpreted as wellness, therapeutic, or outcome-based advice. Aurja disclaims responsibility for any interpretation or personal reliance on the message.

Intellectual Property

All trademarks, product names, vessel designs, fragrance compositions, images, text, graphics, and branding on this site are the exclusive property of Aurja or its licensors. Nothing on the site grants any right or license to use intellectual property belonging to Aurja. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

Privacy

Your submission of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how your data is collected, used, stored, and protected. By using our site, you consent to our data practices.

Third-Party Links

Our site may contain links to external websites for convenience or reference. Aurja does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to misuse the website, including engaging in unlawful conduct, interfering with functionality, attempting unauthorized access, transmitting harmful code, scraping data, or violating intellectual property rights. Aurja may restrict or terminate access for violations.

Errors, Omissions, and Availability

We may correct errors, update information, or change product details at any time without prior notice, even after an order is placed. We reserve the right to cancel any order affected by an error or inaccuracy.

Assignment

Aurja may assign or transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms at any time, including in the event of a merger, acquisition, or restructuring. You may not assign your rights without our written consent.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

Time Limitation on Claims

Any claim related to use of the site or purchase of products must be brought within one (1) year from the date the claim arises. After this period, the claim is permanently barred.

Mandatory Arbitration and Class Action Waiver

These Terms require that disputes between you and Aurja be resolved through individual binding arbitration rather than in court. By using this site or purchasing products, you waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in class actions, class arbitrations, or representative proceedings. If arbitration is deemed unenforceable, disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of the jurisdiction where Aurja is headquartered.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Aurja is headquartered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to These Terms

Aurja may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will appear on this page with a revised Effective Date. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
